I shoot wildlife / nature, I have three lenses, tripod, first aid kit, some rope, bug juice, and food which varies in amounts.
I use a regular hiking pack and I just put my lenses in basic pouches from nikon, my bazooka lens is usually on my camera the most or if I'm doing landscape or macro shots I just put the caps on and set it down on my hat or top of my bag.
I tried "camera bags" before and they're all awkward, bulky and quite heavy, and then good wildlife camera bags are like 900 dollars.
