>need some advice ... extension tubes - one 10mm should give me 1.3 mag and ability to still use focus bracketing
I'm guessing @ 300mm that is. Not a bad choice but beware your infinity focus is gone and you'll need even more light than your current setup due to effective aperture changes. Iirc the math would be an extra stop and 2/3rds of light needed for the same exposure.

This is the way. Used one for a bit but sold it off. Not because it wasn't super effective, but because I already have a 1x macro lens and wasn't finding it necessary. Same problem as before, you'll need way more light at this mag.
>reverse mounting
>reverse ring
Don't do it. It's a total coin flip if your IQ wlll be any good, and you're risking damaging a rear element that isn't protected (there are attachments to void this threat). These methods are for the cheapest of cheapskates and I recommend against it.
>dedicated macro lens
1:1 mag is great, and you get the benefit of actual macro lenses being very sharp and fast enough for other uses.
>I clearly need a flash and difuser.
Yeah. But two things, focus bracketing with a flash is borderline impossible (cant do it sooc, exposure gets fucky in post), and you really need a big diffuser to make things look not like shit.
So two basic recs here: I think macro tubes make the most sense to start with unless you go full HAM and get a 1x macro lens. Also get a good speedlite and a beeg diffuser.
