A lot of jews know what they are, and feel legitimate guilt about it. That's where the "self hating jew" idea originates. Some of them do have a conscience, but your choices are betray your people and they ruin your life or kill you at worst if you're famous or noteworthy, or keep silent and hate yourself. Rock and a hard place. I do feel bad for those ones. I've met several over the years who opened up to me after some time and trust was built.
