That crap won't work anymore, the psychological landscape is far removed from the early 1900s, gender equality has stripped away the supposed responsibilities that men are expected to uphold, the dudes who go to war over this will be few and unfortunately, a lot of them will not come back. The dudes who stay are going to find a lot more women available. You seriously think chicks who meet a dude who avoided the draft won't want to go out with them on that merit alone?
