... Starting in the 1970's, (and in an attempt to empower divorced women who had to work), young girls were taught a series of lies about the world and how life works. Some examples include:

> that there is no time limit; that you can decide it all at the last minute
> that there is no such thing as consequences. So if you were 'wild' in your youth; that will be OK for the millionaires who will wait in line to marry you when you hit 40
Meanwhile; reality is starting to catch up. I saw a story the other day where even the 'sex in the city' producer (or creator/director, I forget which) has started to figure out that she wasted her life.
