Like I have discussed with others, Iran has to give up a lot of stuff for China to sell them this. They would have gotten a better deal if they bought these years ago but they refused.
Such as normalizing relations with Pakistan and Turkey. China does not want to sell weapons to someone who might beef with Pakistan lol. Which is their puppet to beef with India. So Iran has to cut ties with India as well. They also pretty much gotta open up their resources to China. Probably means more pipelines.
Not sure if Iran has other resources to give though.
Iran needs to do a ego check which I dont think they will. Cause China will take a hit if they sell weapons to Iran. J-10's are good but they will be facing F-35's which is not good for them. Considering that China pretty much gives Pakistan weapons for free just to bully India, I dont think Iran will have the same benefit esepcailly if they are all about chanting destroy Israel every 10 seconds.
