Zoomers are drinking and going out less than older generations did, but they are drinking and going out in large numbers. It basically went from "almost everyone" to "less, but still most of them."
I occasionally work as a bouncer at a local bar on busy nights and check IDs at the door so I see exactly how old everyone is. The vast majority are in their 20s, with a decent number of people in their 30s and a sprinkling of older people. And the overall number of people going out is still annoyingly high, it isn't uncommon to have to start doing one in, one out because it's so crowded and close to maximum capacity inside.
