Face it, men are filtering women out of their lives at an increasing scale. The social benefits of fraternizing with women do no longer out weigh the costs, and since relations with women have always required men to put on a performance; men have decided that they simply have no good enough reason left to continue the performance.
Unlike women, who need social feedback to remind them of their existence; men can create existential meaning with zero social feedback. Where are all the men? Well they are everywhere, everywhere you aren’t, doing anything they want for the simple reason that they can.
They aught to asking why have the men gone? But we know that won’t happen, that would require introspection and admission that the way of women and the social habit that demanded has driven the men out.
