Like 80-90% of Syrian population are Sunnis subhumans who have more in common with ISIS than with Assad's government. The thin red line of Alawites, Christians and Druze could hold their ground only for so long. It's a miracle they lasted for more than a decade. The ideas of nationalism, socialism, rule of law etc. mean nothing to Sunnis who only went to kill and rape.
