The AI tools and the people who made them are brilliant technological marvels. It's very impressive that people were able to create computer algorithms that generate entire images, articles and videos in a coherent way. Obviously, the people building this stuff are geniuses.
Does that transfer to everybody who uses these products, though? Not really. People can use AI however they want. Some of those uses are quite good. Some use cases just enable shitty people to be shittier (e.g. it will enable more spying, disinformation, scams, etc.) - and some use cases, like AI "art", are just boring noise that are flooding out and making it harder to find actually good content. There's nothing human about the tool itself.
