I always find it hilarious that the push for higher wages is always for the most useless and easily replaceable jobs like cashier because those are the jobs people see in their personal life the most so they stay on their mind.
Meanwhile the actual important jobs and not to mention most difficult like warehouse worker ends up getting shafted usually now making less than the cashier's or at best the same amount of money as a cashier when they used to make more than them. Why the fuck not just be a cashier instead then? Then suddenly the supply chain is destroyed, imagine that.
