They have this big cultural/ethnic affinity with Israel. Not uncommon to sed Israeli flags there. You will definitely get a warm welcome in Ulster, Israelis always do.
Their flag also has a star of David on it too. My guess is when the proto-Jews got expelled from England most of them went up to Scotland and became Scottish.
