Were you in close contact with cats at some point in your life? Toxoplasma attacks those areas of the brain. Have it checked now, before it spreads. A family guy with a severe toxoplasma infection left his wife and children to become a homosexual. He was a heterosexual before the infection.
It is possible that you have brain damage to those areas, say from an accident, or that those areas of your brain are naturally underdeveloped, but I wouldn't take the risk of not testing for parasites.
