The thing is it was such a clean cut while the pig in such a serene non-alert state I would honestly be surprised the brain actually sent out a signal before the skull was fully cut from the body. I mean given the pig's body hit the ground right after it could have caused a instinctual reaction from the muscles which set off the whole nerve panic mode before it died but other than that I don't understand why the nerves would react in such a way.
