You sound like a retard too. What elevates property values is simply supply and demand like everything else. This is determined by things like zoning, immigration, banks buying houses, etc. Not muh landlords. The government has an interest to pricemax housing because it keeps people working to pay income tax and property tax. How are you going to subsidize housing when everyone needs housing and everyone pays taxes, how does is such a subsidy effective then? I can understand building more as a long term thing to increase supply but that's it.
