He didn’t denounce Judaism, he denounced the pharisees who had claimed the right to adjudicate the laws of the Torah based on the tradition that the elders (rabbis) of the Israelites/Judeans had inherited wisdom from the elders who accompanied Moses to the mountain yet stayed at its base while he ascended to commune with God. He preached against listening to those elders who practiced a faith he thought not in line with the teachings of the Torah. Yeshua bar Yohev wanted to return to following the Torah and to discard the teachings of the elders.
