Its always so funny to me when people dont know how the USA benefits from highly skilled legal immigration.
All major research institutions poach the best doctors, scientists, engineers... from all over the world. They offer them 1m/year salaries and comfy accommodations to get them to leave their European uni jobs.
Thats one of the reasons the US excels in fields, where they dont produce enough local "talent".
