Yeah. Fucking great for NPT's though. You free up tons of tool pockets and prevent having to change out tooling. Also keeps heat down so it can prevent work hardening steel or galding aluminum.
Formed threads will always be superior to cut threads since they compress the metal instead of being cut into it though.
