Yep, and the markets were rightfully pissed at you because they pay premium rent to compete with one another and you were there undercutting them with no rent expense.
We have the same issue with food trucks in the US.

It’s a shitty situation. Personally I like cities that put effort into market squares that allow smaller producers to sell. It creates a nice protected zone for the small guys while subsidizing them against the larger guys in a sustainable way.
The city market has the fresher and better priced stuff, but the groceries have consistent goods that you may miss in the market. strikes a good balance imo.
