I’m not talking about turning all of NYC into a single gigantic commune you dipshit, I’m talking about providing low-interest financing to cooperatives because we know that cooperatives do better by their stakeholders overall and we should encourage their success where it’s feasible. What’s infeasible about what I’m describing?
If we want to shape the behavior of businesses, isn’t the LEAST offensive way of doing it to create monetary easements for businesses that do what we want, rather than trying to regulate ones that we don’t?
