Celsius is good as a scientific unit but not for weather/climate control. Fahrenheit is perfect because human body has an internal temperature close to 100F. So the entire scale is basically "how warm does it feel compared to your body".
When I was staying in Asia, every aircon thermostat was whole numbers only. 23C felt too cold at times, 24C felt too warm. I was constantly juggling it because I can't set it to 23.5C. Fucking retarded.
