It depends on the grade percentage. But grinding it doesn't require as exotic of a stone composition as you might think. Most of the ceramic grinding wheels have a higher average hardness than the carbide will (58 to 62 RwC).
Things only get fucky when you're trying to TURN something that is solid tungsten carbide on a lathe, or worse has tungsten carbide inclusions in it. That's when PCD (polycrystalline diamond) tools are required, and even then you'll go through them fairly quickly.
