Our best trick was acting like Turkey calling dibs on the first order of fighter planes as a condition for getting into the NATO as the most vile negotiation tactic towards a scared and frightened country. The entire media bought it and acted like Turkey was completely out on line and all it did was serve as adversiment for sales to various other countries looking for cheap 4th gen fighter jets. America of course helps with the engines and wins out as well.
