To clarify, if the gameplay is inherently online, provided by the company's servers, then a reasonable buyer would understand that this is potentially a temporary provision.
But if the gameplay does not inherently include an online component, and the servers are merely used for under-the-hood functionality of no interest to the buyer, then the buyer has grounds to claim that they have been ripped off when the game stops working due to server shut down.
