Spanish politics are just a botched continuation of the Franco regime. Good statesmen have been replaced by an elite of cleptocrats. There is no true democracy, PP and PSOE are literally the same thing, and the other parties that keep popping up are just offshoots of those two.
After Franco's death, the country was literally sold to global jewry. Politicians do not care as long as they can keep stealing. And the people are still traumatised by the civil war, fighting over petty stuff instead of uniting for the common good of the nation.
