Here’s why I’ve never gotten a fifth wheel- because it’s cheap to rent a U-Haul or many other vans/trucks that just so happen to have a class 3 hitch. Just bring your own ball and g2g, PS it’s always extraordinarily cheaper to return the truck to the place you got it from, just park your DD there for the day while you do your thing, and you won’t even need a ride to/from. It was less than $150 both times I rented, first a pickup then a bigass box truck at the same rate because they didn’t have any pickups. A brand new F150 will squat but handles it OK.
