>Some might interpret that to mean that heaven is some sort of shadow realm that exists just beyond the veil here on earth, but I take it to mean that heaven is in all of gods handiwork and in nature itself- that if man were to just be happy with himself and what he has, be kind in his heart, and uplift his brother, he would find that he is living in heaven already.
I'd interpret it in a stoicist/buddhist philosophy way that if you can eliminate your own cravings and clingings you can enjoy simply existing.
I try to remind myself often that if I'm correct that romance is truly off the table for me, then I should stop wanting it at all and find something else that is attainable. Same with owning a house/garage/workshop or whatever.
