Shitskin coded posts but I will try to explain this for any newfags that come along;

This is a big lie. We absolutely have information from non-christian sources. Runestones, carvings, inscriptions, burial goods, amulets invoking gods, spells, prayers etc. Their art depicts mythological figures and stories we've been told about from later sources. Older Roman sources confirm the same. The poetic Edda is a collection preserved by later christians, but its agreed upon by everyone trying to date the poetry that its structure, metre the general style its written in is much older than the 13th century. We have laws going into even the 17th and 18th centuries prohibiting pagan practices. Laws from pagan times survived even into the time when Snorri was writing, paganism was widespread in the countryside so it absolutely wasn't dead. Not even close. Skaldic poetry is all pagan. There's several different christian sources that also corroborate pagan myths or practices even if not everything in it is true. Then if we're talking about European religion in general there is of course a tremendous amount from the Greeks and the Romans, which also corroborate common elements in Indo-European religion.
