They do, the only difference is the level trust and adoption which can and does change at a drop of a hat when a wealthy investor want it to (which is what happened to ethereum). There's no fundamental difference between 2 forks of a memecoin except the arbitrary level of trust and both are equally legitimate to the eyes of a computer. That alone should expose serious red flags about the whole thing.
