Please, we've all seen the Peta hidden cam videos. The same shit happens to farm animals in slaughterhouses all around the world. Humans are cruel to animals and themselves. What else is new? And which animals is only your personal bias because you have some attachment to these house pets. You'd feel the same way if you owned a pet pig or cow that wasn't going to end on your dinner plate and was purely for companionship.
