"Urban intellectuals" are a cesspool of decadence typical for late civilizations and cities themselves are population drains where bloodlines wander to die. The rural Christian cults like the Amish or the Laestadians or other religious fanatics like the Mormons or the Hasidim are actually booming, they are the only growing communities in the shrinking Western world.
