he did it on purpose. I played ice hockey growing up and there was never one single instance of someone getting hurt by the blades nor had I ever heard of it from anyone else. on skates. you don't brace for impact by putting your leg out, just like you don't brace for impact with your stick because it's against the rules. he had a nigger moment, probably didn't mean to kill the guy but that's just how double digit IQ doesn't contemplate potential outcomes.
