Cities in Canada and the USA dont produce much of anything anymore. There was a time you could point at legitimate industrial production and say "see it is all worth it." That ship sailed 100 years ago you cant ride the coattails of a bygone era.
Cities in Canada and US are mostly just hubs for marketing and HR corporate offices, media companies, and all sorts of other "make-work." Long gone are the days of any actual production that could at least counterbalance the nastiness of it all.
