A good example is when an insane person misplaced his keys he rationalises that the alien government uses invisible microwave lasers installed in the apartment above to erase his memory of where he put his keys or even teleported his keys remotely to a government lab in south dakota (don't ask how he got that exact specific location, its intuitive for the feeble minded).
