Because of my line of work I get to see what they're like. They are riddled with health problems, hygiene issues, substance abuse, alcoholism, violence (family members on family members). There's also a high number of amputees because of diabetes and vascular issues. It should be really seen as a major health epidemic in their communities/reserves. I understand the historical context but holy shit is ever tiresome seeing what they're like.
