Every useful form of “money” in history has been valueless. Beads, sticks, necklaces, pieces of paper, shiny metal discs, all of them have the same thing in common which is that none of them is useful at all in practical terms. Their only worth is an indication of debt between parties.
The best arguments against BTC have to do with the ways it’s bad at this (e.g. the fact that it adds transactions to the chain way too slowly to be useful as a mode of daily exchange), not the fact that “it’s just 1s and 0s” or whatever tardcope people use.
