Only a tiny fraction of brown-eyed people have a 50% chance of having blue eyed baby.
How to know? Well if that brown-eyed person has one parent with blue eyes then he has 50% chance of blue eyed baby if he mates with a blue eye person.
The vast majority of asians, latinos, south europeans, africans, arabs who have brown eyes can't have blue eyed baby even with a blue eye partner, they don't carry the blue eye allele.
