Actual human beings understand that this has nothing to do with the answer to the question. The interviewer was probably asking because he was going to get something to drink for them, and the anti-social interviewee doesn't understand how humans interact, and turned this a benign interaction into something awkward and creepy. Normal people at an interview don't stare at each other for 15 seconds, the interviewer was likely in shock over the bizarre interaction, and the chud interviewing picked up on zero cues to even know to try and repair the social faux pas.
