Granted, women are obviously not monolithic.
There are plenty of conservative women who'll betray their own personal interests in the exact same way there's plenty of women who're romantically interested in rapists and murderers. You also need to understand that "female progressiveness" isn't exactly the same as "male progressiveness": progressive women are more in favor of banning pornography for instance.
