It's not really fair to compare the supply logistics of the USA and Nazi Germany after 1943 or so though. What you're talking about is when the USA is happily sitting back at peace and sending ships to places. The Nazis were having to supply armies during massive and prolonged war.
No one is doubting the industrial output of the USA, and Hitler getting into a war with them was a critical, but perhaps unavoidable error after 1941.
