This is disingenuous. The Imhausen process wasn't developed for food, it was developed to convert coal into oil for fuel, lubricants etc. It was intended as a solution to Germany's dependency on foreign oil since Germany had huge coal reserves. Fat hydrogenation was invented by Wilhelm Normann a (non Jewish) German, but this doesn't involve coal it just converts unsaturated vegetable and fish oils into saturated fats more similar to animal fats.
