Counting cards in Blackjack has incredibly low margins. Basically it just inverts the house margin.
Instead of the house making 2%, you make 2%.

You're not going to ever make this with low Blackjack margins unless:
1. You get really lucky - in which case no they're not going to know you're counting cards. Lucky customers are happy customers. They need happy customers to get them addicted to gambling so they can milk them later.
2. You hit a jackpot bonus in some casinos. You can definitely improve the odds of this by counting cards, but its unlikely a single or double deck casino would even do this. Also indistinguishable from pure luck.
