Also, absolute majority of """""(((Japanese)))""""" franchises in US are dogshit. Chinese brands and franchises are genuinely unironically superior, because nips enterred the market relatively not so very long ago, while chinks been around for almost two centuries by now, due to chynatown shit and etc., so they've accumulated a fuckton of experience in dealing with/serving to mutt market.
Yoshinoya and Gyu Kaku are, pretty much, the only two actual genuine full-Japanese franchises that are present in US, without massive bastardization or niggerification of everything. Sarku is NOT trash, it's NOT bad, but for me personally it wasn't anything special, it's just an average run-of-the-mill "yakitoria" akin to those that can be found in Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Vladivostok, or Khabarovsk (usually the closer to Japan itself, so further to the east in the country, the better). Hence why I "felt nothing" about it.
