the word he uses in the actual greek is a word meaning 'this generation' referring to a type of age or era, not literally those exact people themselves
>ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι οὐ μὴ παρέλθῃ ἡ γενεὰ αὕτη ἕως ἂν πάντα ταῦτα γένηται.
>Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things are accomplished.
>γενεά
>birth; hence, progeny; a generation of mankind, Mt. 11:16; 23:36, et al.; a generation, a step in a genealogy, Mt. 1:17; a generation, an interval of time, an age; in NT course of life, in respect of its events, interests, or character, Luke 16:8; Acts 13:36

The Prophet Jeremiah uses Hebrew puns when insulting the false canaanite gods the israelites were worshipping referring to them as gods of shit, Jesus himself also uses harsh language sometimes like when he calls Peter Satan nd harshly rebukes people in general. Furthermore, the Bible contains a whole passage in Proverbs mocking stupid people and saying not to listen to them using various different metaphorical/parable ways to describe how they are stupid. John the Baptist was condemning people brazenly. Yahweh himself calls Israel a shameless whore for committing 'adultery' by worshipping other gods and whoring themselves out to other nations.
Muh meek and mild shit is just some 'Jesus was a socialist hippie who just wants you to be nice bro' modern pop culture shit. Enemies of God can be condemned harshly.

I don't need to rationalize shit, God could do all those things because he's God and he hadn't invented Jesus morality yet so why does it make sense to hold Him to a higher moral standard that literally didn't exist yet and that He came up with? Nothing 'bad' God does in the old testament is something that the humans themselves weren't doing and much worse and everyone He killed deserved it.
God nuked a city? Must mean the city was just that fucking bad, simple
