There is pipeline connecting Baltics with Finland. But gas deliveries for our market comes from Lithuanian terminal, where they deliver LNG from USA.
There was time when purchased also gas from Kazahstan, via pipelines from Russia. To my knowledge, it have been halted for some time now.
Not sure, are Russia storing some of their gas in InĨukalns. As some years ago, for Latvia there was better gas rates, as they were pumping gas in summertime (when extraction wells in Siberia were working) in InĨukalns underground storage side, so in winter could use it for supplying Leningrad oblast. Might be that it is still happening. May be they found some other storage site.
