Okay, lets say the age stays at 18 but the prerequisites are that you have to be smart enough to study for a safety test that also acts as an IQ test, pay for the mental evaluation yourself, have no serious criminal record, and keep a current license that allows for conceal carry too. The bar is too low for any idiot to just walk in and buy a gun. We don't let unlicensed people drive cars, why should idiots have guns without passing similar tests?
