I fucking love that the tarriffs are in particular screwing over the fat business caste hardcore Hindus who are Modi's support base in Gujarat. It's because of them that the BJP is trying to turn Hinduism into some twisted perversion of an Abrahamic faith. It's because of them that vegetarianism is being pushed as official policy across the country. It's because of them that the government is fucking around with Muslims, of which we have 200 million. And their endless hatred for anything socialist, their endless stanning of the West and capitalism, their warmongering even as Gujarat has the lowest enrollment in the armed forces of any state in India, to have it all come to this, their precious US screwing with Modicels without a second thought.
Yes the tariffs pinch but this is a massive silver lining.
