When CEOs make 400 times the average employee's salary and executives and upper management want far more than their counterparts made in the 1970s, adjusted for real inflation, then this destabilizes the whole economy and makes it so top heavy that it becomes unbalanced and fragile.
Since tens of trillions of dollars have been spent on banks and giant corporations since 2008, and they're the biggest reason for out unmanageable nation debt, then yes, the structure of corporations even becomes an issue of national security.
