being an arab isn't genetic. arabs are descendants of all kinds of ancient peoples. Sudanis are descendants of ancient Nubians and today they are part of the arab world. They are ethnic arabs. they have some native ethnic minorities in the country like the ones living near the border with Chad. But the people living in Khartoum and around the Nile are basically Sudani arabs. I've met some of them who were brown and not black. but most of them are black obviously.
