i don't practice or study any religion, but i do come from western civilization which once upon a time (not so long ago) was a hell of a lot more religious than it has been in my life. for example both my parents grew up going to church, knowing a community of churchgoers. but they were done with that by the time i was born.
i don't think previous generations of cultural custodians would be welcoming giant pagan idols in their hometowns, and allowing western civilization to dissolve and distort into a new world order with the same generic assortment of diversity everywhere you look.
obviously religion is a sign of your cultural integrity and we're undergoing a lot of globalistic selling out in the 21st century
